Who we are

Our vision: a world free from prejudice

Our mission: we are an education charity that empowers young people to challenge prejudice in all it its forms, inspired by the life and work of Anne Frank

Our values

Inspired by Anne Frank, we believe in and always try to act on:

1. Equity. We are committed to challenging all forms of prejudice and to building a more just and inclusive society, where everyone is treated equally and fairly.

2. Integrity. We act with honesty, care and accountability in all we do. We handle history with accuracy and communicate openly and transparently, building trust in our work.

3. Growth & Learning. We are reflective, ambitious and committed to continuous improvement. We listen, learn and adapt, guided by evidence, lived experience and the creative imagination that fosters empathy.

4. Empowerment. We believe in the power of young people’s voices. We equip them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to challenge prejudice, speak up and take meaningful action.

5. Collaboration. We work in partnership with young people, educators and communities to achieve lasting change. We create safe and inclusive spaces that encourage respectful dialogue, where people
can listen, question and express their views in ways that build understanding and mutual
respect.

Definition of antisemitism

We are committed to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism, including all its examples. The definition is the underlying basis of all our schools programmes and is covered explicitly in our workshop on antisemitism.

Our equalities plan

As an anti-prejudice charity, we are deeply committed to equality and diversity.

We want to be outstanding in equalities practice in every aspect of our work, and we know we’ve got lots to do to achieve this aspiration.

If you have any information, comments or questions about our equalities practice, we would love to hear from you. Please contact people@new.annefrank.stag.sprout.posi.info
